Dear Filmmakers,
Please join the Binning Family Foundation for our inaugural QuaranTEEN Film Festival! We give you an opportunity to conceptualize and create your own short film from the comfort of home!
Who: Students currently in grades 7 through 12. No prior experience or participation in a Binning program is necessary.
What: Film your project at home using whatever camera you have available. Cell phone videography will be accepted and encouraged! As a bonus for our filmmakers, every participant will have access to a selection of filmmaking “how to” videos and weekly video conversations with filmmakers if you need help or advice and other special guests.
When: The program will start on Valentine’s Day, Sunday, February 14. Film submission deadline is by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 19.
Why: Let’s celebrate youth filmmakers and their films! Films will be reviewed by a panel of judges and prizes and really rad trophies will be awarded to the “Best Original Concept”, and “Innovation Prize” (i.e., best use of required elements)” and “Grand Jury Prize.”
Grand Jury Prize delivered to filmmaker by drone!
